Silky, spiced chickpea and spinach pasta. Ready in just 10 minutes, this super simple recipe is nutritious, delicious and a great way to add some spice to your little ones diet.
Put your pasta onto boil. In a separate frying pan, add the drained tin of chickpeas, drizzle of sunflower oil and all of the spices.
Cook on low heat for a couple of minutes. Add a ladle full of pasta cooking water to the chickpeas, stir and add the spinach. Keep stirring occasionally till the spinach has wilted.
Add the grated cheese and your cooked pasta to the sauce and keep tossing till all combined. If the sauce is too dry add a splash more of the pasta cooking water.
This meal is suitable from 6 months. Can be frozen for up to 3 months, however pasta is best cooked fresh.
