Baby Choc Mousse

There’s a hidden ingredient in this choccy mousse…I bet you didn’t guess it’s avocado! A great way to add in some extra greens even at treat time!


  • 1 medium avocado, peeled and stone removed
  • 100ml of double cream or thick coconut cream*
  • 40g of cocoa powder
  • 40g of honey or maple syrup (do not give honey to babies under the age of one)


Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and whizz up till smooth. Serve immediately or chill first to firm up the consistency.

Keep covered in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months, serve slightly defrosted as an ice cream.

Suitable from 6 months if using maple syrup and 12 months if using honey.
