Pina Colada Porridge

Deliciously comforting oats cooked in coconut milk and flavoured with grated sweet pineapple.


  • 1 x 400ml of coconut milk
  • Regular rolled porridge oats*
  • Half a fresh pineapple, or one tin of pineapple in juice – blitz quickly with a food processor
  • 1 tbsp of desiccated coconut
  • Splash of milk of your choice (optional)


Roughly remove the pineapple skin, then using a box grater on the course setting, grate the pineapple, leaving behind the firm middle section.

Add this to a pan, along with the tin of the coconut milk.

Fill the empty tin back up with oats up to around three quarters full. Tip into the pan, getting out as much oats as you can. Give it all a good stir and cook on a medium heat stirring often till you reach the consistency you desire.

You can add an extra splash of milk which will help make the porridge creamier, cook for another minute to thicken up again.

Serve with fresh pineapple and desiccated coconut on top.

Suitable from 6 months. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
